Pray and reproach

The story “Pray and Kaye” Kaliningrad writer, laureate of the literary Russian Prize of 2008 by Leon Kostievich - about our contemporaries, friends of youth, who, having parted many years ago, meet newly already established people. In the book, everything, as in life: funny, sad and even tragic is adjacent and intertwined, and in ordinary, often ridiculous domestic situations there are serious challenges associated with the need to make a conscious choice here and now. The protagonist of the story is the former Moscow actor Aeschylus of Christoporidis. He turns to Orthodoxy, leaves the theater and takes his family to his homeland - to the provincial town of Svyatograd. Here Aeschylus meets old friends and tries to introduce them to faith. Moreover, it often acts with pressure, which is why non -standard situations arise, funny and sad. It is not always easy for the reader to understand how sincere the hero is in an effort to convince his environment at all costs. Maybe it"s only about an indefatigable impulsive temperament - and the former actor is simply not able not to play? ..
