In the new book of Inna Kalabukhova, the opposite stories were connected to each other: a detailed biography of a talented, charming young man, who tragically destroys mental illness, and a romantic story about love, in which official details are intertwined with adventurous surprises. Perhaps the main writing feature of Kalabukhova is that she writes about those whom she remembers and loves, and therefore among her literary heroes there are no secondary, episodic characters, and the reader instantly notes, because the author’s feelings are transmitted to himself. A tiny, fleeting detail, picked up by a ray of memory from a kaleidoscope of trifles, suddenly transforms an event, makes it comparable to the reader who is familiar with firsthand. Thus, the rapprochement of the times and destinies occurs, which gives the writer to the manner of an extraordinary charm
