The action takes place in a small town in the very north of Sweden. Five young girls are found in a reader club, discussing their favorite books. However, the tension is growing, because all the girls are in love with one guy named Viking. After the next conflict, one of them disappears without a trace. Forty years later, she is found murdered, and four women gather together again.
