The fact that Andrei’s mother did not forget the Japanese, who wandered around the snowy city in search of pineapple, made an impression on me, forever remaining in my memory. Her words taught me how to forgive the universe, how to feel gratitude even when you can no longer smile. It was a sad and heavy, but wonderful conversation. I don’t know if there is such a genre at all, but I decided to write a book with pictures for adults. I want it to be read by adults who were once children.
About the creators
Minor Kamata - a Japanese doctor, writer and public figure. One of the founders of the Japanese Foundation "Chernobyl". For the help of the victims of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 2001, he was awarded the Order of Francis Skorina.
Todzimbara Norichis - an illustrator and art director, draws up advertising posters, book cover, magazines and much more. In 1984, he created the Happy Birthday Company design bureau, and in 1985 he opened the HB Gallery art gallery
