The Parisian Echo is the story of a random friendship of American intellectual and a teenager from Morocco, who met in Paris and changed each other"s lives. And this is a novel about the Second World War, French resistance and collaboration, self -sacrifice and betrayal.
Hannah comes to Paris - a city where she was once broken by her heart - to collect material for a book about the life of French women during the fascist occupation. The case introduces her to the tarik, which crossed the Gibraltar Strait in search of a mother and in the hope of a free and beautiful life.
