The author called this book a story of memory. The main word here, of course, is memory. Memory is what makes a person not just a biological being, but a person, telling him the uniqueness. Memory is a mystery, still not solved by scientists. If a person loses his memory, he loses not only himself, he loses everything around him. And at the same time, memory exists separately from a person: no matter how hard we try, we will not be able to recreate the events that took place exactly as they actually happened. We can reproduce them only as we remember them. Any operative who interviewed witnesses will without hesitation confirm you
this. “Lying like an eyewitness,” we add. The author of the book spoke about his life and about the life of other people as he remembered them. And that means: I lived life again for myself and for them. And that means: he loved them. Because to live for a person whom you do not like, means killing yourself and him.
The third book in the collection of works is not accidentally set by the latter. She summarizes the previous ones. According to the author, she was supposed to combine different energy of the previous two books. If the first book (“City of January”) embodied a tragic view of the world, and the second (“Home Semantics”) absorbed a happy look, limited by the narrow horizon of a close circle, then this book tries to combine the inescapable tragedy of being and the individual happiness of human existence in this world. Laughter and sadness are intertwined here in one ball, from which the multi -colored yarn of human life is formed. Probably otherwise it cannot be. The thesis is antithesis - synthesis. Well, Let it be. Let it be
