Igor Puzyrev continues the traditions of the Leningrad prose, which was created by Ilya Stemler and Alexander Zhitinsky, Viktor Konetsky and Vadim Shefner, but at the same time his works can hardly be called the prose of the city dweller. He writes many stories and stories of the “northern” theme, and this is one of the faces of his personal portrait: the writer is a traveler and a researcher who is not afraid of Arctic cold weather, the meager tent of expeditions and the dusk of the Bely of Nights. He lives bravely, and writes just as bravely. As a writer of Pazyryov, a realist in the best sense of the word
