The action of the book unfolds in Moscow in the late eighties and in the Roman Empire of the beginning of the third century. Origen is one of the first Christian theologians and interpreters of the Bible. But this book is not only about it. She is about student youth: about perestroika and hopes, about the path to faith and the first disappointments. This is not an autobiography at all, but almost every of the described Moscow events (a graduate of the classical department of the Filfak of Moscow State University 1992) observed or participated in it. Only reality is not always just to distinguish from fantasy
