The novel “Once in Russia” will be interesting to readers of different ages - both the older generation, and forty -year -old and very young. The author describes the events taking place in the dramatic, turning point in the history of our country. Not so distant and contemporaries well -known, but already slightly sprinkled with dust of time and is not yet fully realized. The book tells about the fate of the twenty-year-olds who have fallen into storm perestroika and dashing 90s. This is a modern story about the “lost by the wind”, loved ones and loving, the circumstances of the time and life of the cities and towns scattered in cities. The main characters, Waldemar and Anna, are forced to make difficult decisions: with whom are they? What is the highest good for them? What is permissible, and through what is impossible to cross? Where does the self -sacrifice end and the betrayal of its ideals begins?
But in the most difficult minutes, Anna recalls the words of her grandfather: the dream is higher than hope, and should always be with you. The dream that saved on the very edge. And a revelation comes to Waldemar: love without happiness happens, and happiness without love is never!
The book was written on the basis of real events that took place in those years in Russia and, in particular, in Moscow
