The famous artist and writer Vagrich Bakhchanyan (1938-2009) compiled a kind of catalog of gastronomic tastes of the characters (and maybe the authors themselves) more than three hundred famous writers of different times and from all over the world. He does not retell, but only quotes, as if outlining with several strokes, these seemingly not very significant features of large artistic worlds, which usually pay little attention to. As in his other works, he creates a kind of new direction, this time in literary criticism, namely, a gastronomic one. Surely he will have successors who will expand and deepen the field of research, develop a scientific methodology, but the glorious name of Bakhchanyan as one of the pioneers and the curious tasting of these literary dishes will inevitably remain at the origins
