Kimberly considered her family completely ordinary until she went to school. Seeing how other children live, she desperately realized that her parents were mentally unhealthy, that she was ashamed for what was happening in their house, and, most importantly, if teachers or parents of classmates learn about it, her mother and dad will be deprived of her parental Right, and she will be given to the boarding school.
At first she learned to be “invisible”: she did not make friends, did not say anything to herself, did not stand out at school. But over the years, she adapted: she washed in the gym, dressed inexpensive new clothes, when there was nowhere to wash the former, found a fake house, near which she said goodbye to friends (and then quietly ran to the present) In high school, she even managed to become a popular girl.
Shame for their family and despair from the fact that parents will never be able to overcome their illness, Kimberly carried through all childhood and youth. The art of pretending another person helped her become an actress. But to let people close to people, not to look for pathologies and addictions in them, to forgive parents and not be afraid for their future - it was not immediately possible
