The books "My house is my alien" and "Gospel for Ivan" were first published in the West in 1982. The narrative is carried out on behalf of the drunkard and the poet. For the author of poems distributed by samizdat, KGB officers have hunted for a long time. Two attempts were made on him, after which the verses were confiscated. Alexander Zinoviev managed to save copies and transfer them to the West, where he published them in the early 80s at the Swiss publishing house "L"Age d"Homme", in which all books of the author in French and Russian were published at that time.
