Abraham B. Jehoshua is one of the most read in Israel and beyond the authors. "Mr. Mani" is his most famous novel. It is an impressive family saga covering six generations of the Mani family and a huge space of events: from Greece and Poland of the 19th century to the dandective British territory of Palestine and the Nazis occupied by the Nazis in the middle of the century of XX, and then modern Israel.
