The Mobius tape was discovered independently by German mathematicians Augustus Ferdinand Mobius and Johann Benedict Listing in 1858. Model of the Mobius tape can be easily made: for this you need to take a fairly long paper strip and glue the opposite ends of the strip, having previously turned one of them. In the three -dimensional Euclidean space, there are two types of mobius stripes depending on the direction of twisting: right and left (topologically, however, indistinguishable)
