The ceremony of the announcement of the winners of the Lyceum Prize, which traditionally happened on June 6, on the birthday of Alexander Pushkin, launched the Red Square festival-the first cultural event after the Pandemia of Spring 2020. Sergey Kubrin, Ekaterina Kakurina and the poets of Alexandra Shalashova, Evgenia Ulyankina, Boris Paygin.
And again on Red Square, laureates of the Alexander Pushkin prize for novice writers were declared on Red Square. What are they, new authors? These young people tenaciously, in a businesslike way, look around the surroundings. They perceive the world as their belonging. They easily take up any explosive topics because they do not know how to be afraid. But they are definitely not reassured. They are worried. And they are worried about what has always been worried about people. I would like them, new ones, to remain in the literature and continue to write.

Lyceum Prize is established for young authors aged 15 to 35 years. Literary and artistic prose and poetic works are accepted, which have not previously been advanced to national literary awards. Founders of the award: Lotta Group of Companies in Russia (Lotta Rus JSC and Lotta Confectshini LLC), the Russian Book Union, the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications, the Literary Institute named after A.M. Gorky, Association of Literary and Art Journals, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Literary Gazeta, the Center for Support for Russian Literature.
The Supervisory Board of the award is headed by the President of the Russian Book Union Sergey Stepashin. Members of the Supervisory Board: Lee PE, Kim Tae Hong, Kim Jun Eun, Kim Hyun Teve, Vladimir Grigoryev, Mikhail Shvydka, Pavel Nepitsa, Sergey Filatov, Maxim Zamshev, Alexey Varlamov. »Open at the beginning of 2021.
