The story “Live and remember” is a tragic, full of bitter truth history. Andrei Guskov, a seriously wounded soldier from the front, after the hospital decides to see his relatives before going to war again, but immediately becomes a deserter. Fearing arrest, he never comes home, hiding for many months in the vicinity of his native village. Only the wife of Nasten discovers him - and supports her husband, helps him and keeps his secret.
“Live and remember” - this is a work about the war experiencing both the breaking man and the story of the simultaneously simple and mysterious, loyal to the woman. The story was reprinted many times in Russia and abroad.
