“Little Tragedies” and “Boris Godunov” are the peaks of the Russian drama of the first half of the XIX century. In 1825, being in exile in Mikhailovsky, Pushkin writes the tragedy Boris Godunov. “The study of Shakespeare, Karamzin and our old chronicles gave me the idea to put into dramatic forms one of the most dramatic eras of recent history,” Pushkin wrote about the emergence of a plot of the Troubles of Troubles. Having completed the work on the play, in which the struggle for power and the Russian throne was the main topic, the poet admitted in a letter to his friend P. A. Vyazemsky: “My tragedy is over, I repel it aloud, one, and shouted, and shouted, and shouted, and shouted, and shouted, and shouted, and shouted, Ah yes Pushkin! Ah yes bitch son! ” The cycle “Little Tragedies” was written in 1830 in Boldin, it is dedicated to human passions - obeying all thoughts and feelings. Each main character is obsessed with such a passion - whether it is the acquisition of treasures, love, creativity or thirst for immortality. And each of them is a voluntary slave to his passion, which is not enough to subjugate her of his personal being - he wants to subjugate the whole world to her
