Louise May Olcott is the famous American writer, author of the novel “Little Women”, which was brought up by more than one generation of readers around the world. First published in 1868 in the United States, this work was translated into more than 50 languages and was the basis of many films and theatrical productions.
After the deafening success of the “little women” and the “young wives” who followed them, Olcott created the third novel about the girls of the march family loved by all the readers, calling him, to universal surprise, “little men”. And the whole point is that the tireless Joe, together with her husband, opened the boarding house in the town of Plampfield, where she sheltered to break away of various ages and characters. Of course, not all boys were able to immediately take root in a new place. It was especially difficult for the street children, accustomed to rely only on their own strength and impudence. However, wise care and disinterested friendship are able to work real miracles!
