The St. Petersburg Publishing Firm Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences produces the book series "Library of Literature of Ancient Russia" in 20 volumes. In the history of the development of Old Russian written heritage, this is the first such extensive publishing series. Due to its volume, strict principles of publication of ancient Russian texts, parallel to their translation into modern Russian, comments "Library of Literature of Ancient Russia" presents almost all the wealth of ancient Russian literature.
