The Book of Prose writer Alexander Makhnev “Left to heaven” tells about those who took on their shoulders the severity of the Great Patriotic War, the most bloody and fierce war of recent centuries. The heroes of the author’s narratives are different people: a rural teacher, the son of a repressed handle, young Leningrad, a fifteen -year -old guy from the south of Ukraine, a young Siberian. Yes, they are different. But these are people strong in spirit, loving the Fatherland and hating the enemy. And this unites them. The life of these people is an example of serving the Motherland, reminding the young generation of what victims a great victory was given. The book also presents the previously not published stories
