The action of the novel by the Catalan artist, the prose writer of Pruensy Bertrana (1867-1941) occurs in the space of the Cathedral of Girona. The protagonist, Robinar Josafat, disfigured by the peasant young man, brutally crashes with his mistress and then loses his mind. The work is built in contrasts and combines the features of Gothic and modernist novels. The book has a lot of naturalism, symbolic details and allusions to the novel by V. Hugo "Cathedral of the Paris Mother of God".
The book is illustrated by black and white photographs of temple architecture.
The publication is addressed to connoisseurs of Western European literature of the 19th half of the 20th centuries
