This is a story about a boy born in a poor village far in the mountains, where fish is a symbol of prosperity. He goes to school, but barely manages to learn a letter: the teacher is unhappy with the excessive curiosity of the child and in anger forbids him to attend lessons. Then the hero lights up the idea to achieve recognition and raise the social status of his family, which means to become a fisherman. But where to find a suitable mentor? Fortunately, his father is familiar with one master of fishing. So the boy and his father go in search of the old man - the king of fish ... An instructive story about the moral formation of the hero, his search for himself and rethinking values.
