These notes are "purely private impressions of a purely private person" about how they lived in the last period of the USSR and how they came out of it. And about how, with the direct participation of the author, one small software company was created and functioned. This is a story about the time and about its people, when the promoting motives of the actions of participants in changes, contrary to common opinion, were often not great ideas and not even some smart considerations, but banal household and everyday human reasons.
The book that is now in your hands is one of the series of memoirs of eyewitnesses and participants in the very "changes", including engineers, scientists, writers, journalists, artists, musicians, programmers and people of many other professions. They all write brightly, talented, with great love for all the characters mentioned in them. I would like to hope that reading will give real pleasure to those who lived in this difficult time, remembers it and want to compare their memories with the author’s memories. We are sure that the book will interest young readers, including specialists in the development of programs for enterprises
