Arkady Timofeevich Averchenko (1881 - 1925) - a wonderful Russian writer, playwright, theater critic, editor of the legendary St. Petersburg magazine "Satyricon", became the most important phenomenon in the culture of the Silver Age. His humorous and satirical works are interesting in that they show the society of the early twentieth century with all its shortcomings and vices. And the problems raised, despite the replaced era, remain relevant to this day. The works of Mikhail Mikhailovich Zoshchenko (1895-1958) were of great importance not only for the development of satiric-humorous literature in the 20-30s. His work has become a significant social phenomenon, the moral authority of the satire and its role in socio-moral education thanks to Zoshchenko, unusually increased. The works of Taffy, Nadezhda Alexandrovna Lokhvitskaya (1872 - 1952), funny and sad, are always witty and silent, filled with love for characters, understanding human weaknesses, compassion for troubles of ordinary people. The reward for this was universal folk love. Taffy’s humorous stories were literally read out in palaces and huts. Her talent was highly appreciated by the best modern writers along with ordinary inhabitants, whom Taffy loved so much in her stories
