This is a novel about illusions, ideals, despair, this is a knightly novel, but in the Cervantes understanding of chivalry, ”the author, whose prose, reveals the world of Russian emigration for us, determines his book. His new novel shows the daily life of Russian -speaking Estonians, who found themselves in the dreaming space between the two countries and times: a heroic countercultural past and difficult to give the present. The endless string of dangerous adventures and events into which the author involves his heroes turns the novel into a wide art panorama, sometimes reminiscent of Bruegel"s canvases. Andrei Ivanov is a Russian writer living in Estonia, laureate of the Nose Prize (2013) and the Russian Prize (2011)
