The book of the famous writer Irina Polyanskaya (1952-2004) included the novel “The Horizon of Events”. The event horizon is a barrier in the black hole of the cosmos, where the space is replaced by time, over which we are not powerful. But this is the life of the heroes of the novel, in the variety of fate of which our reality is reflected. A recognized novelist and storyteller, Irina Polyanskaya received an acting and literary education, worked as an accompanist, actress, a nurse in traumatology, a correspondent in the newspaper, editor in magazines. In the late 80s, she was part of the group of young writers “New Amazons”, which was criticized by the ideological and aesthetic course of “new female prose” in modern Russian literature.
