Jacob Hunt is eighteen years old. He has a severe form of autism. The young man is not able to contact others normally and perceives everything too literally. For all that, he is a gifted mathematician and an excellent analyst who is fond of forensics. With the help of an illegal police scanner, he finds out where the next crime has been committed, and tells the police in which direction to conduct an investigation. And it usually turns out to be right. But when a brutal murder occurs in the city, the police come to the Hunt House. Detectives that are not familiar with the symptoms of autism take the oddities of Jacob"s behavior during remorse and make it the main suspect. For the mother of Jacob, this is another evidence of the intolerance of society, and for his younger brother is another reminder of the abnormal situation in the family due to Jacob"s illness.
