In the new book, Olga Grenets included stories that were published in American and Russian magazines for the past three years. The focus of stories transfers the reader from San Francisco to St. Petersburg and vice versa, but no matter what hemisphere the characters of the book were, they are organically inscribed in the realities of the modern world surrounding them. The same stories: about family relations and raising children, the search for their place and tender identity, the loyalty to the memories of youth and serving the cause, are told with humor and the rare talent inherent in the Greek - easily, in one touch, penetrate the topic and always with an unexpected , sometimes a fantastic angle.
