The novel “Heavenly Way” is based on the real story of the relationship of two loving people, their life and spiritual path. In the center of the story is the fate of the unbelieving engineer Viktor Vaidengammer and deeply believing, meek and internally strong Darinka Queen. The meeting with Darinka opens before Victor a new, unfamiliar world to him, and her love and deep faith help him to go through a difficult, full of doubt, the path of insight. The book naturally describes the movement from sin to repentance and faith. The prototype of the protagonist ended his life in the Optina Desert, taking monastic tonsure.
