Alexander Prokhanov’s novel “He” is a novel about the childhood of a writer, in which there were war years, funerals, the death of Stalin, the first enthusiasm, first love, adoration of the loved ones, the magic of Russian poetry, the beauty of Russian snow and dawn. Childhood is an optical device in the hands of the author. Passing through this device, a ray of light breaks up into a rainbow spectrum. And in every shades of this spectrum, the magic of children"s phenomena lives, which then become youth, maturity, old age and gain lifestyle. At the end of life, they converge in a focus, and through this focus through the last outbreak the writer learns about the world, and the world learns about it.
