Gobsek. Evgenia Grande

The grandiose work of Honore de Balzac "Human Comedy" has a 91 work that describes in detail the French society of the first half of the 19th century. All social and professional types, characters, vices and virtues of contemporaries are reflected in this "encyclopedia" of human passions. "Hobsek" and "Eugene Granda" are included in the section "Studies about morals" and are dedicated to heroes obsessed with gold. The stinginess and greed of characters, luxury and motion, dependence on the opinion of Light encounter other characters of heroes: disinterestedness, nobility and devotion.
