The book of Nikolai Kryshchuk consists of two sections. The first takes the story "go there - I don’t know where" - a story about his first love. Love, the first injection of which, scary to say, the heroes felt in childhood, continues for many years. Here we are talking, rather, about the adventures of feelings than about the evil role of circumstances. The second section contains essays and memories. The essay about Nikolai Punin and Lydia Ginzburg, memories of the literary life of the 70s and the first decade of the present. The reader will get acquainted with the literary life of the era and its characters: from Alexander Volodin, Sergey Dovlatov, Viktor Konetsky to the literary functionaries of the publishing house "Children"s Literature", the Leningrad Union of Writers, the magazines" Neva and "Aurora", about the revival and death in the early 90s Leningrad magazine, the editor -in -chief of which was the author of the book
