The action of the free will unfolds in one of the villages of the Far East of Russia. Caviar and fish in these parts are almost the only way to earn life. This is legally impossible. And so, which began by accident, the confrontation between people and power flares up. The heroes of the novel are hunters, fishermen, their wives, the head of the district police, his lover, 20% of the rollback, one difficult scourge, a special brigade of the Moscow riot police. And also - spawning salmon, animals and birds forest. Snow, mountains, sun, cooling rivers and autumn taiga.
