Anna Pivkovskaya (p. 1963) - Polish poetess and essayist, author of ten books of poems, essay books about Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaeva. The story “Frantishka” proposed to readers (2014) tells the story of a 13-year-old girl who finds himself in difficult life circumstances and suddenly sensed a poetic gift in himself. Classmates laugh at her, believing that only men can write poetry. With the delicate help of a grandmother, who patronizes the franchish, she reveals for herself the work of such a poetess as Sappho, Vislava Shimborskaya, Kalina Dedovskaya, Anna Akhmatova, Emilia Dikinson ... Poetry helps her overcome her fears, streamline emotions, strengthen relations with her friends. The girl develops rapidly and grows up.
