The “hearts of four” are a stressful, bloody and at first glance completely absurd quest of four heroes, which are sequentially moving towards a mysterious goal. Leaving behind him human corpses, the ominous four seems to make a symbolic act of farewell to the Soviet one, simultaneously destroying movie-literary cliches, familiar ideologems and traditions.
In a snowy Siberian city, which survived its Chernobyl and forever abandoned by people, the heroes will finally gain what they were striving for.
written in the year of the collapse of the USSR, the novel brings the line under the Sotsartov period in the author’s work
