There are opinions of experts that in the post-reform 1990s, human losses led to a demographic collapse. The term "superiority" appeared. But the risk parameters recognized by sociologists do not explain the origins of super -mortality in today"s Russia. The viability of the population depends on some other conditions. The story "Forgotten Word" shows private life against the backdrop of interweaving historical, social and spiritual problems. In addition, this is a kind of study with the aim of finding other conditions that have drawn in the schedule of the Russian Cross Demographic situation. The main character of the work - hope - was born in the Volga provincial town in a simple family. Raised in childhood on Soviet moral principles, the girl goes to life that was "rebuilt". Nadino attitude is “superimposed” on the layer of “values” unacceptable to her, which destroyed and continue to destroy the country. The conscience, repentance and courage of the main character help her recall the "forgotten word", which not only saves her from hopelessness, but also inspires faith in the future - her own. The book will be interesting not only to boys and girls entering adulthood, but also to those who remember the events of the “rebuilt” of Russia at the end of the 20th century
