The novel of the writer and poetess Lyubov Kopylova (1885-1936) “The blanks of the flap” was written in 1934. In many ways, this is an autobiographical work that reflects the experience of intellectuals in the first generation, who came out of the lower classes and in fact knowing how difficult it was to engage in intellectual labor for women in pre -revolutionary Russia. In some ways, the views of the main character can be called feminist, but not magazine articles and not books, but life itself pushed her to them.
The real publication of Common Place opens the series “O”, in which the artistic and memoir prose of the forgotten Russian writers of the XIX-XX centuries will be released.
