The most bloody wars in the history of mankind occur as a result of a call for justice. And, paradoxically, on both sides of the barricades, he sounds under the sign of love for his fatherland. But completely pure and unsuccessful at all times remains maternal love. Such an example in the book is Eve"s love for his son Nikolai. She, without hesitation, risks her life and wins. In search of son, Eve moves along this fire -breathing lava - war: by plane, train, sea on the ship, in the back of the old cargo one and a half. He spends the night in the house with a roof collapsed, cleans potatoes on checkpoints and, in the end, finds his Nicholas, with shot legs, and retains his life
