For more than four decades, Viktor Konetsky (1929-2002) gave the sea, having traveled from the fourth assistant captain to the captain of the long-distance voyage. In his prose, he combined the marginal realism of the hard, endless maritime work, with its watch, full of anxiety, pitching, constant tension, great responsibility for people, for goods-and inonient open romance, very sincere, clean and the same Earth time. The past seas and oceans along and down, the author told about this with a fair amount of humor, simply, strongly, for sure - as a born master of his craft.
