Facation is the ancestor of a modern joke, who came straight from the Renaissance. Wandering stories, street jokes transmitted from mouth to mouth were aimed, as a rule, to ridicule certain persons and estates. For the first time, the backgot of Brachen - the Italian writer and humanist of the 15th century reacted seriously to them. We can say that his "faculation" is the first printed collection of jokes. At one time, he was very popular, describing the actual bikes from the life of representatives of various classes: from peasants to bishops. Often, stories are not so much humorous as remarkable and instructive, giving an exhaustive characteristic of the Italian society of the Renaissance. The pile, without a doubt, laid the foundation for a whole tradition of collecting and literary processing of overheard jokes and comic stories.
