Britannia. The hot summer of 1939.
The country is preparing for the war, but on the coastal farm in Suffolus there are concerns of a different kind - the widow Edith Pretty suspects that treasures are hidden on her land in Satton -huh. In an attempt to make sure of this, a woman organizes archaeological excavations on the territory. She turns for help to the experienced archaeologist Baisil Brown. It soon turns out that on Mrs. Prytty, valuable finds are really buried. They are joined by a young student Peggy Piggott. She and her husband are not tolerated to take part in excavations and find out what is still hidden deep in the mound. Three months of hard work against the backdrop of growing national excitement confirmed guesses - a unique thing, an echo of the history of Britain, who radically changes his view of the past and future, was really buried in Satton -huh.
