People of nine villages lived on the edge of the forest. They lived as their ancestors lived before them, representatives of the amazing people because, and revered their bizarre, humanly capricious gods and strict, but good spirits. They performed rituals, in the opinion of strangers - strange and cruel. They fought, put up, raised children. They worked in the fields and harvested. They drank homemade palm wine and had fun at the holidays.
And then Europeans came - with the intention of teaching “black savages” to live like white, to believe as white and raise children, like white. Strong civilized people who are ready to make the people of nine villages happy with an iron hand.
But who and when in this world managed to make someone in force?
