August 15, 1953 - Day of the Streal Street Carnival in the Enclave of Italian immigrants in Ohio. A simple baker Rockco Lagrassa, whose life has long come down, receives a shocking news of the death of a son in a prisoner of war camp in Korea. But he is not the only one is full of torment.
