Eleanor Oliphant is in perfect order: she works as an accountant, drinks on weekends, and on Wednesday talks with a mother, who is far away. Eleanor is not lucky: she is surrounded by unremarkable people with primitive tastes and poor vocabulary (so she, at least, seems to her) But everything changes when, having gone once to the concert, she sees an elegantly dressed rock musician. Eleanor immediately understands: this is he. True, while she is preparing for a significant meeting, she has to be content with a much more modest company.
Eleanor Oliphant in perfect order. So she speaks to others. But she tries not to remember the past and is saved by vodka from insomnia.
A gradually funny story about the life of a socially unadapted woman turns into a sad, touching story about childhood injury, love and loneliness. In history that will not leave anyone indifferent
