This essay on Edgar is imbued with pessimism. And not only in relation to the fate of the poet himself: the author sets himself the task of seeing a picture of human existence from the height of his 75-year age-life, who has lived quite happily and which cannot be called at least any tragic. But in the lens of this consideration, Edgar Poe is always present, his unusual fate and premature death. Why did he live? Why does man live on earth? Why did we come to this world and who is its creator? The author developed completely extraordinary answers to all these questions. They are an egregious contradiction with the traditional picture of the world that non -conflict of humanity developed as an anesthetic morphine before the obvious tragedy of human being. And is there a way out of a similar "trap" that a person falls into after his birth? Was the output of Edgar in order not to experience this eternal horror of the soul, which affected all his adult life over him? And what is the reason for this "horror"?
