Noting the personal commitment of Dostoevsky to Russian Orthodoxy, Jones claims that it is possible to understand the fictional world of the writer only by evaluating the polyphony of the most diverse in the works of religious experiences - from the outcome of the faith to radical unbelief.
As the author of Romanov Dostoevsky neglected the external manifestations of religiosity and showed that the path of a person to the "A posture" should go through the maiden of doubt.
