Literature on Dostoevsky and his work is vast, but so far there are white spots. The author of the book is trying to make up for some such gaps. We are talking about the views of the great Russian writer, expressed through the words and thoughts of heroes, about the role of science and technology in society and history, about money and usury, ideas about the beautiful and ugly (issues of aesthetics) Particular attention in his work is paid to the topic of Russian capitalism (none of historians and writers, except Dostoevsky, left us such a naturalistic and terrible picture of the transition of traditional Russia to capitalism) Dostoevsky is a prophetic writer. Many of his predictions were confirmed by the domestic history of the 20th century and the events of today.
The book contains a detailed analysis of the poem (legends) about the great inquisitor - the brightest (according to the author) of Dostoevsky’s work. The thesis is also revealed that Dostoevsky is the larger eschatological writer in Russian literature
