“Virginity” is a poetic story, a detective of memory. Upon learning of the death of his first girl, the narrator goes on a meditative journey on his own past, trying to solve who he was before he lost innocence, and what, in fact, this is virginity for a man.
At some point, what is happening now becomes illusory, and the events of twenty years ago acquire clarity and come to the fore. The life of an adult saturated with sensual events and geography flies in front of the teenager’s eyes and causes only a perplexed grin: this does not happen. There is only a suburb from which not to escape.
