France, 1944. In the old stone cottage, on the outskirts of a beautiful village in Dordon, three sisters dream of the end of the war. Helen, the eldest, works as a nurse in a village hospital and does everything possible to keep their small family safe. Eliza, a rebel, holds a cafe that serves as a “mailbox” for local partisans, and the youngest Florence, a dreamer, looks after the house, prepares and works in the garden.
