Alexander Prokhanov’s novel “CDL” tells about the secret ark - about the central house of writers, who sailed along the stone waves of the Moscow Ocean and took on his board all who dived into the raging sea of recent years of the USSR. The CDL was a solar plexus of Soviet culture, where Russian patriots, “the foremen of perestroika”, sophisticated lyrics, which made up the glory of Russian poetry, and thunder -like vitia, fascinating with their verses crowded stadiums converged in the oak room. Not only the fate of literature, but also the fate of the country, at that time was the ideological basis on which the state was held in the Central House of Sciences.
The writer Kuravlev, in which Prokhanov himself is easily recognized, is testing writer"s glory, writer"s disappointment, treason of friends, crafty hatred of enemies. He became a witness to secret processes that led to the explosion of the State Emergency Committee, and later destroyed the country. At the end of the novel, according to the intention of the writer, the Central House of Sciences burns. No, the oak hall did not burn out, the bar’s racks did not burn. But that magical ark that will never pop up among the raging waters of stories burned out.
The poems of Alexander Prokhanov “Melted amber” are the poetry of thin worlds, which combines love and snowfalls, prophetic tits and “steel of rifles in bloody fists”. This is a mysterious print of what is happening in the soul of an artist who has lived a huge life, ready to say goodbye to her and return to her in the form of Russian snow, blooming golden dandelions and laughter of her beloved woman
